Terms of Service
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Dealzmart mobile application and related services (“Dealzmart”, “the Service”). By creating an account or using Dealzmart, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Eligibility & account
You must be old enough under your local law to enter binding agreements and use a marketplace. You agree to provide accurate information and keep your login secure. You are responsible for activity under your account.
2. Marketplace rules
Detailed guides are in our Help Center — Rules (Svenska).
- List only items you are allowed to sell and describe them honestly (condition, price, delivery or pickup expectations).
- Respect auctions and buy-now / cart rules shown in the app. Winning an auction is a binding obligation to complete in-app checkout within 48 hours; unpaid wins may be cancelled and accounts restricted. See auction rules.
- Do not list prohibited or illegal goods, fraud, harassment, hate, or spam.
- Follow community guidelines in chat and meetups.
- Respect other users’ privacy: do not misuse phone numbers, addresses, or chat to pressure or scam.
- For shipping, returns, refunds, disputes, and chargebacks see shipping, returns & refunds, and disputes & chargebacks.
- Follow our Privacy Policy and in-app safety guidance.
3. Purchases, checkout & settlement
Dealzmart offers in-app checkout for many transactions (for example cart purchases from a seller and auction win payments where enabled). Payments are processed by third-party providers (typically Stripe and/or PayPal). When you pay, you also accept that provider’s terms and privacy policy.
How money moves: Subject to your region, listing settings, and seller setup, buyer funds may be routed toward the seller’s connected payout account (for example Stripe Connect or PayPal seller). Dealzmart coordinates payment sessions, order records, and settlement status in the app.
When settlement can be delayed: If a seller has not finished required payout onboarding when a buyer pays through certain card flows, Dealzmart may temporarily hold settlement until onboarding is complete — this is shown in seller wallet / order messaging (for example funds held until payout setup is ready). This is not an open-ended escrow service; it is tied to provider settlement and onboarding requirements.
Platform fees: Dealzmart may charge marketplace or success fees on eligible sales or separate platform charges, as disclosed at checkout or in seller-facing fee summaries. Fees are in addition to third-party payment processing costs where applicable.
Orders & disputes: Buyers and sellers should use in-app order status (for example paid, shipped where shown, released, disputed) and support channels. Opening disputed in the app flags an issue for review; it does not automatically refund the buyer. See Returns, refunds & buyer protection and Disputes & chargebacks.
Returns & refunds (items): Dealzmart does not operate a general “change of mind” return policy for private peer-to-peer sales. Refunds may be considered for serious problems (for example non-delivery, significant misdescription, fraud, or confirmed payment errors) as described in the Help Center and subject to mandatory consumer law where it applies. Business sellers may owe stronger consumer rights (including distance-selling withdrawal in the EU) than private individuals selling their own used goods.
Chargebacks: Card or wallet chargebacks are decided by the payment provider and card network. Under our Stripe Connect marketplace configuration, Dealzmart may bear financial responsibility for certain reversals to buyers even after funds have been transferred toward a seller’s connected account; we may use provider tools (including transfer reversals where permitted) and account enforcement to address losses and abuse.
Physical delivery & shipping: Dealzmart is not a carrier, freight forwarder, or insurer of goods in transit. Where the app supports shipping (as opposed to local pickup or meetup), sellers and buyers arrange transport with postal or courier services directly (for example buying labels on a carrier’s website or at a service point). The app may let you record a shipping address, optional carrier / tracking details, and optional proof-of-shipment images so both sides can see progress on the order screen.
When an item purchase completes: The app may use a one-time delivery code that the buyer shares with the seller after handover, and/or automatic completion after a defined period if no dispute is opened — as described in the order screen. These tools coordinate trust between users and record status; they are not a guarantee of delivery timing or item condition. Lost, damaged, or delayed parcels are primarily between the buyer, seller, and the third-party carrier, subject to applicable law, these Terms, and the payment provider’s dispute rules.
Cash / in-person arrangements: If the app offers optional non-card flows (for example meet-up cash marking), you remain responsible for safety and accuracy of those arrangements.
Dealzmart is not a bank and balances shown in the app are not deposit accounts unless a partner explicitly states otherwise.
4. Paid platform features
Optional services (for example Seller Pro subscriptions, boosts, featured placement, auction listing / reserve fees, listing highlights) are separate from item prices. They are described before you pay. See our Paid Services and Billing page and in-app checkout. Payment processors may charge additional fees according to their terms.
5. Content & license
You keep ownership of content you upload. You grant Dealzmart a non-exclusive license to host, display, and distribute that content as needed to operate the Service (including moderation and technical delivery). You confirm you have the rights to any photos and text you post.
6. Moderation & enforcement
We use automated and manual review of listings (including text and photos) to enforce our rules and applicable law. When you publish, your listing may be approved immediately, held for review, or rejected if it appears to violate our policies (for example prohibited goods, fraud, or offensive content).
We may remove or restrict listings, accounts, or messages that violate these Terms, create risk, or are required by law. We may suspend or terminate accounts for repeated or serious violations. If your listing is held for review, it may not appear publicly until we approve it.
7. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” to the extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or that every listing is accurate. Users are responsible for verifying items and counterparties.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Dealzmart and its operators are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the Service, user-to-user disputes, payment-provider actions, or items traded on the platform. Our total liability for any claim related to the Service is limited to the greater of (a) amounts you paid to Dealzmart in the twelve months before the claim (including optional subscriptions and platform or marketplace fees collected by Dealzmart), or (b) a small fixed amount where no such payments apply — except where law forbids such limitations.
9. Changes
We may update these Terms. We will indicate a new “Last updated” date for material changes where required. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms where permitted by law.
10. Account deletion
You may delete your account as described on our Account deletion page.
